MET is Manipal Entrance test conducted by Manipal University for enrolling to engineering courses. It is located at Manipal, Karnataka. It is one of the top private university in India. Every year around 40,000 candidates apply for MET and out of which 2000 candidates make to Manipal Campus.

 

Eligibility:

Pass in 10+2, with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% mark taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

 

Exam Pattern:

  • Mode – Pen & Paper

  • MCQ based test

  • Duration – 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Four sections comprising Physics & Chemistry (50 Q), Mathematics (70 Q), English & General Aptitude (30 Q)

  • 4 marks will be awarded for a correct answer

  • -1 will be awarded for an incorrect answer

  • Entrance Test fee: Rs. 1400 (for selected courses only)

  • Application Fee: Rs. 2500/- only
